"Yellow House Ruin"

Named for the light colored, yellowish, mud mortal used to build these dwellings, Yellow House Ruin is a fairly well preserved remnant left behind by the Anasazi people.

Built under a giant alcove, these ruins have weathered the test of time quite well. Many of the roof beams still have the tied and knoted yucca lashings that help to secure the ceiling of these ancient homes.
