"Stargazers"

Painted and chipped into the soft sandstone cliffs of Sego Canyon are some of the most spectacular examples or rock art in the Southwest. These pictographs are believed to have been created by the Archaic people over 8,000 years ago.

While the age of these ancient drawings may seem impressive, they are actually quite new on a cosmic scale when you consider that the visible light from the stars on this very evening had been traveling for millions, and millions of years.

"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." -- Albert Einstein
