"Rock Candy"

Deep in the remote Escalante Grand Staircase Wilderness you can find some of the most unique and dramatic examples of mother nature's handy work. Sitting silent in this largely unexplored region, this little two-foot tall rock is merely a "taste" of the many geological delights and oddities waiting to be explored.

In this capture, the smooth, flowing and linear striations lead the eye, like a path in Candy Land, winding gracefully across the landscape, whetting our appetite for more of this stunning rock-taffy. Leading us along a rainbow path in search of that mythic pot of gold....

I Like this one. You have done this photograph based detail and space ideas. you have seen some 's' curve in this frame. That is the creative Perspective idea. Your visual observation is perfect. You used correct wide angle lens for this. You have some great photographic thinking about the earth. good luck...
