"Fallen Roof Ruin"

Nestled in a cliff side in Mule Canyon, Utah, this once inhabited sandstone Anasazi shelter silently endures the passing of time. Estimated to be from 700-900 years old, the once secure structure that functioned as home, church and community center, can't help but show signs of its age.

This photograph captures the sun-kissed color of the sandy rock, while it reveals the haunting "stare" of the dark windows. Shadow and color bring life back to this long empty, history embattled monument to the Anasazi culture.

I love history, and as fasinating as this is to view, it's nevertheless very uneasy! You do very fabulous photography...especially your 'wildlife.'
